Ronald “Ronnie” Colvin

Ronald Kemper Colvin, 74, of Craigsville, Virginia died Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at Augusta Health.

He was born February 21, 1942 in Craigsville, Virginia, the son of the late James Kemper Colvin and Ruby Lucille Griffin.

Ronnie was previously employed as a machine operator at Acme.

He is survived by his son: Paige Kemper Colvin and wife Jennifer; his grandchildren: Addison and Austin Colvin; his brothers: Guy Colvin of Fairfax, Virginia, Roy Colvin and wife Loretta of Titusville, Florida; several nieces and nephews; a special niece: Charlotte Coffman and her husband Johnny, their girls Crystal and Angel; and a great great niece Hannah.

Ronnie was preceded in death by 2 sisters: Leona Golladay and Bessie Colvin, and 7 brothers: Archie, Calvin, David, Marshall, Donald, Charles, and Harold Colvin.

A memorial service will be conducted privately at Little River Church of the Brethren Cemetery with Pastor Rob Via officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Little River Church Cemetery Fund.

    I just wanted to say that uncle Ronnie was like a dad to me. He was always there for me from the time I came home from hospital. I will greatly miss him. These last few months have been hard on him since he lost his sister, Bessie. I will miss him. Charlotte
