Eddie “Bug” Bowden

Eddie “Bug” Eugene Bowden, 29, of Staunton, Virginia died Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Augusta Health.

He was born March 7, 1985 in Staunton, the son of James Knight and Carolyn Knight.

Eddie was very active and loved walking in the park and fishing.

He is survived by his parents; his step-father; Robert Knight; 1 brother; Jesse Bowden of Staunton; 2 step-brothers; Robert and Robbie Knight of Craigsville; 1 sister; Regina Bowers and husband Justin of Staunton; grandmothers Deltha Jackson and Sylvia Bowden; grandfathers Marvin Knight and Frankie Bowden; 4 aunts; 1 uncle; 3 nieces; and 2 nephews.

Eddie was preceded in death by 4 uncles.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday January 21, 2015 at Craigsville Funeral Home with Brother John Coffman officiating. Interment will be in Craigsville Community Cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Fridley, Bruce Woods, Melvin Knight Jr., Davie Knight, Robert Knight, JR Knight, and Brandon Knight.

Memorial contributions may be made to Craigsville Funeral Home in lieu of flowers.
