Robert Lee England, Sr.

RobertRobert Lee England, Sr., 73, of Craigsville, Virginia died Saturday, February 2, 2019 at UVA.

He was born December 16, 1945 in Kingsport, Tennessee, the son of the late Lee Andrew England and Connie Pearl Hilton England.

Robert was formerly employed as a plumber, as well as working in heating and cooling.

He was a loving father and grandfather, and an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, camping, and working on cars.

Robert is survived by his children, Robert England, Jr. and wife Crystal of Craigsville, Rodney Sherwood and wife Brenda of Craigsville, David Fox and wife Jessica of Pennsylvania, John Sherwood and wife Bobbie of Churchville, Shane Lilley of Craigsville, Timmy Hewitt of Richmond, Mark Sherwood and wife Michelle, Stephanie Anderson and husband ZO of Richmond, Barbara Maxey of Staunton, Cindy Borne of Waynesboro, Rebecca Maxey of Waynesboro; 31 grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers, Cleve England of Charles City, VA, Tommy England of Henrico, VA; sisters, Ruth Johnson and husband Henry of Powhatan, VA, Geraldine Taylor and husband Scottie of Henrico, VA, Myrtle Osborne and husband Doug of Powhatan.
