Henry Milton Paxton

Dove & CrossHenry Milton Paxton, 88, of Greenville, Virginia died Sunday, December 9, 2018 at Shenandoah House in Fishersville, Virginia.

He was born September 15, 1930 in Goshen, Virginia, the son of the late Thurman Otis Paxton and Clara Mae Southers Paxton.

Milton was formerly employed as a mechanic and technician for Farm Bureau.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Airforce, serving in the Korean War.

Milton is survived by his daughter, Robyn Thurston of Waynesboro; 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; his ex-wife, Patsy Groah; 9 nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Gloria Jean Fridley of Goshen; and special friends, Charlie and Debbie Hodge, and Daniel Bowers.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Paxton; 3 brothers, John, Harold, and Stanley Paxton, and a sister, Margie Fridley.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday December 12, 2018 at Craigsville Funeral Home with Pastor Lloyd Via officiating.
