Nettie Alice Holbert

Nettie Alice Hostetter Holbert, 78, of Churchville, Virginia died Thursday, January 18, 2018 in Fishersville, Virginia.

She was born January 20, 1939 in Lexington, Virginia, the daughter of the late Clarence Albert Hostetter and Mary Elizabeth Smith Hostetter.

Nettie was formerly a homemaker who loved the outdoors, especially fishing for bass and catfish, and hunting for mushrooms and ginseng.

She is survived by her children, George W. Lotts and wife Elizabeth of Goshen, Sylvia J. Aldridge and husband Kenneth of Lexington, Michael A. Lotts and wife Lorita of Churchville, Wanda G. Lotts of Raphine; 12 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 2 brothers; 4 sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Nettie was preceded in death by her husband James Holbert, 2 brothers, and 2 sisters.

Memorial contributions may be made to the SPCA.
