Nettie Louise Warren Jackson

Nettie Louise Warren Jackson, 80, of Goshen, Virginia died Saturday, December 23, 2017 at her residence.

She was born March 5, 1937 in Rockbridge County, Virginia, the daughter of the late Hershey Graham Warren and Gertie Marie Miller Warren.

She retired from Genesco where she worked as a seamstress.

Mrs. Jackson attended Peoples Baptist church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed working in her flowers.

She is survived by her husband, of 18 years Marvin Mathew Jackson of Goshen; three sons, Homer Warren & friend Nevada of Salem, Virginia, Gerald Campbell of Staunton, Virginia, Doug Campbell of Roanoke, Virginia; two step-daughters; Diane Campbell of Roanoke, Glenda Oscar & husband Bill of Craigsville, Virginia; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; a brother, Roger “Mason” Warren & wife Anne of Craigsville; seven sisters, Vickie Wilson of Staunton, Linda Phillips & husband Charles of Whitakers, North Carolina, Molly Wade of Waynesboro, Virginia, Becky Brown of Staunton, Jane Mobray & husband Michael of Staunton, Charlotte Doyle & husband Vincent of Craigsville, and Lillian McCloud of Raleigh, North Carolina.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Nelson Henry Campbell; 3 brothers, and 5 sisters.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Peoples Baptist Church with Pastor Claude Williams officiating. Interment will be in Oak Lawn Memory Gardens in Staunton.

Pallbearers will be Grover Thompson, Douglas Thompson, Bill Oscar, Jim Gum, Joe Warren and Telford Dickey, Jr.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Craigsville Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Goshen Rescue Squad or Peoples Baptist Church.

The family wishes to express their thanks to Vickie Wilson, Brenda Brown and Sonny Thompson.
