Doris Arlene Clark Fitzgerald, 82, of Buena Vista, Virginia died Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
She was born November 14, 1935 in Clifton Forge, Virginia, the daughter of the late Raise Loving Clark and Ruby Gaylord Botkin Clark.
Doris was a lifelong homemaker, and loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
She is survived by her children, Charlene Potter of Buena Vista, Jean Campbell of North Carolina; 3 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; brother, Eugene Clark of Maryland; sister, Virginia Tweety of Evington, Virginia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband Clemmer Fitzgerald and two brothers.
A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 20, 2017 at Irish Creek Community Cemetery with Rev. Dean Staton officiating.
