Frances Kelly Kirby

KellyGoshen— Frances Kelly Kirby, 73, of 27 Sandbank View, Goshen, Virginia died Friday, October 10, 2014 at her residence.

She was born February 24, 1941 in Augusta County, the daughter of the late Andrew Puckett and Frances Angus.

Kelly was employed as a cook at BG’s Restaurant.

She was a member of Goshen Baptist Church, who enjoyed fishing and playing pool, and loved to cook.

Kelly is survived by her sister; Janie Bryant and husband Deanie of Goshen; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Leroy and her brother Mickey Angus.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday October 13, 2014 at Goshen Baptist Church with Pastor Scott Reese officiating. Interment will be in Goshen Baptist Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Chris Robertson, Jammie Bryant, Jammie Bryant Jr., Blaine Lawhorn, Josh Marston, Mike Jolly, and Ricky Cliffton. Honorary pallbearers will be Bernie McClanahan, Charles Bryant, Basil Karr, Austin Bryant, and Lilee Bryant.

The family will receive friends Sunday October 12, 2014 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Craigsville Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
