Joyce Marie Byram

JoyceJoyce Marie Jack Byram, 78, of Craigsville, Virginia died Wednesday, November 21, 2018 in Staunton, Virginia.

She was born August 28, 1940 in Bath County, Virginia, the daughter of the late Jessie Clayton Jack and Cora Divine Windsor Jack.

Joyce was a lifelong homemaker, a member of People’s Baptist Church, and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Franklin Byram of Craigsville; children: Carla Gill and special friend Tim Leonard of Vinton, Carol Steele and husband Danny of Glen Wilton, Steve Neff and wife Tammy of Covington, Rocky Neff and special friend Jennifer Mundy of Iron Gate, Clay Neff of Covington; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; sisters; Thelma “Toots” Madison of Millboro, Florence Clark of Warm Springs, Jessie Lawhorn of Craigsville, Kathleen Harris of Churchville, Shirley Spradlin of Staunton; and numerous nieces and nephews .

Joyce is preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Lee Neff.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Sunday, November 25, 2018 at Peoples Baptist Church with Pastor Claude Williams officiating. Interment will be in Lebanon Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Aaron Simmons, Dabney Neff, Barth Berry, Steve Williams, Steve Ingram, and Trey Rhodes

The family will receive friends from 6 – 7 p.m., Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Craigsville Funeral Home.
