Maxie Darrel Miller

MaxieMaxie Darrel Miller, 63, of Goshen, Virginia died Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at his home.

He was born March 21, 1955 in Lexington, Virginia, the son of the late Clarence Mitchell Miller and Celia Somer Ingram Miller.

Maxie was formerly employed by the Town of Craigsville in Water Service .

He loved his grandkids, listening to the oldies, and his dogs.

Maxie is survived by his daughters, Laura Martin and fiancé Cody Adkins of Goshen, Jessica Miller-Harris and husband Dwayne of Fairfield; grandchildren, Mecca, Jacob, Josh, Brianna; brother, Milt Miller of Augusta Springs; sisters, Karen Sasser of North Carolina, Nancy Atkins of Goshen; numerous nieces and nephews; and his many dogs.

He was preceded in death by his son, Joshua Miller; his brother, Mitchell “Bunk” Miller; and his sister, Lottie Miller.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday August 17, 2018 at the Bells Valley Worship Center with Pastor Charles Clinedinst officiating. Interment will be in the Ingram Family Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Cody Adkins, Dwayne Harris, Malcolm Griffin, Basil Carr, George Ingram, and Terry Sensabaugh.

The family will receive friends from 6 – 7 p.m., Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Craigsville Funeral Home.
