Oral “O.G.” Fitzgerald

Oral “O.G.” Garland Fitzgerald, 66, of Craigsville, Virginia died Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Augusta Health.

He was born December 31, 1951 in Craigsville, the son of the late Arthur Mason Fitzgerald and Elsie Bell Woods Fitzgerald.

O.G. was formerly employed as an equipment maker for Lofton Ship Suppliers.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

O.G. was a loving father and grandfather who enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He is survived by his children, Tammy Campbell and husband Billy of Augusta Springs, Tina Riley and husband Charles of Craigsville, Kimberly Hubbard of Craigsville; grandchildren, Jordan Stuples and husband Michael, Jasmine Campbell, James Craig; great grandchild, Alyssa Craig; numerous nieces and nephews, a special family member, Skip Woods, and his baby dog, Bella.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Fitzgerald; and his siblings, Sam Fitzgerald, Franklin Fitzgerald, Eunice McLain, Wayne Fitzgerald, Diane Fitzgerald, and Danny Fitzgerald.

A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, April 29, 2018 at Craigsville Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Adkins officiating. Interment will be in Estaline Valley Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Marcus Hubbard, Billy Campbell, Kevin Fitzgerald, Brian Fitzgerald, Darren Gregory, and Darrell Gregory

The family will receive friends from 6 – 7 p.m. Saturday night at Craigsville Funeral Home.
