Randall Steven Jolly, born February 16, 1969.
“Heaven’s Band” sounds a little sweeter now that Randall “Hollywood” Jolly is sitting behind the Big Tamas in the sky! Randall left this world Monday, April 9, 2018 to be with his Lord and Savior in his new heavenly home. Randall’s passion in life was always to be a drummer, even as a small child, and he is well known by most musicians in the area having played in numerous bands throughout the years. He also loved building custom furniture with his Dad and was quite the perfectionist at both! Randall deeply loved his family and friends and never missed an opportunity to tell them so. Those of you that were fortunate enough to have known him know that he always ended his calls and visits with “I love you.”
He leaves behind his wife, Kathi Jolly; his step-son, Dusty Corbin and girlfriend Vickie Gregory; his mother Willie Anne Jolly; a sister, Patty Viar and husband Mark; two brothers, Frank Jolly, Jr. and wife Norma, Larry Campbell and wife Rita; and numerous nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind special friends, Cathy Haislett, “Wild” Bill and Cindy “Knucklehead” Mayne, and Miss Evelyn.
Randall is preceded in death by his father, Frank Jolly, Sr. and a brother, Ralph Wayne Melton.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 13, 2018 at Little River Church of the Brethren Cemetery in Estaline Valley Craigsville with Rev. Steve Via officiating. There will be no family visitation night, but friends may call at his residence. The honor of pallbearer has been given to his friends and family, Burt Clark, Mandy and Richard Fox, Chelsea Galloway, Michael Wilmott, Brandon Galloway, Jason Jolly, and Jason McCray.
We know that Randall would like to take this time to thank everyone for your prayers, calls, and visits to his beloved family during this very difficult time and would like us to know he has finally found the peace he was desperately searching for.
Love, our time together was much too short but no amount of time would have ever been long enough with you. Just know that Dusty and I were so very honored and blessed to have you and your never ending love in our lives.
Forever Yours,
Sweet Pea
