Judy Lee Botkin

ScanJudy Lee Berry Botkin, 74, of Churchville, Virginia died Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at her home.

She was born June 28, 1943 in Augusta County, the daughter of the late Hugh Richard Berry and Mary Lee Huffer Berry.

Judy was formerly employed as a banking assistant for Community Bank.

She was a graduate of North River High School in 1960.  Judy was a marksman with a pistol and rifle, as well as an archer.  She will always be remembered for her smile.

Judy is survived by her husband, Gary Ronald Botkin, Sr.; daughter, Pamela Koontz; step-children, Betty Blackford and husband Kevin, Kathy Lyle and husband Jeff, Dana Botkin, Ronnie Botkin;  grandchildren, Jennifer Robertson, Emma Blackford, Matthew Sorrell, Dylan Botkin; great granddaughter, Alana Robertson; brother, Tommy Curry and wife Glenda; sisters, Katherine Beam and husband Jim, Linda Goins and husband Nick, Nancy Curry and wife Debbie, Ginger Leitch; brothers-in-law, A.J. Botkin and wife Marguerite, Delmer Botkin and wife Sue, Delton Botkin; sister-in-law, Sherri Berry; special friends, Frank and Joyce Eavers; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Roy Berry, sister-in-law, Donna Rae, and niece, Karen Botkin.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Springhill Presbyterian Church with Rev. Dennis Taylor officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to in lieu of flowers to the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank in Verona.
