Frank Moore Jolly, 87, of Goshen, Virginia died Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Augusta Health.
He was born December 23, 1929 in Bath County, the son of the late Harry Houston Jolly and Edith Bratton Jolly.
Frank was formerly employed as a machinist for McQuay, having retired after 32 years of service.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and groundhog hunting.
Frank is survived by his wife, Anne Campbell Jolly of Goshen, Virginia; children: Frank M. Jolly, Jr. and wife Norma of Craigsville, Patty Viar and husband Mark of Lyndhurst, Randall Jolly of Craigsville; stepson: Larry Campbell of Staunton; grandchildren: Amanda Fox and husband Richard of Craigsville, Jason Jolly of Greenville, Chelsea Galloway of Staunton, Brandon Galloway of Waynesboro, Ralph “RJ” Melton, Jr. of Craigsville; 4 great grandchildren; sisters: Betty Lou Manning of Statesville, North Carolina, Ruth Woolgar of Wisconsin, Martha Jane Jolly of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a stepson: Ralph Junior Melton, 5 brothers: Harry Jr., Ralph, Donald Lee, Robert, and Charles William Jolly; and 4 sisters: Marie Robinson, Mary Francis Webb, Virginia Gallahan, and Helen Louise Jolly.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday April 21, 2017 at the Bratton Family Cemetery with Rev. Steven Via officiating.
Pallbearers will be his grandchildren and Dustin Corbin
The family will receive friends at any time at his residence.
