David Albert Helmick, Jr.

DavidDavid Albert Helmick, Jr., 49, of Goshen, Virginia died Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at his home.

He was born August 9, 1967 in Staunton, VA, the son of David Albert Helmick, Sr. and Edith Vitina Harlow Helmick.

David was employed at Lowes in Lexington.

He was a loving father and son as well as an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing.

David is survived by his parents, as well as his daughters: Brittany Helmick of Waynesboro, Codi Helmick of Buena Vista; granddaughter: Alexis Thomas of Waynesboro; brother: Tony Helmick of Dayton; sister; Gloria Back of Greenville; special friend: Angela Griffin of Buena Vista, and 1 niece and 2 great nephews.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Craigsville Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Adkins officiating.
