Michael Wayne Byram

mikeMichael Wayne Byram, 58, of Craigsville, Virginia died Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at his home.

He was born September 28, 1958 in Lexington, Virginia, the son of Richard Franklin Byram and the late Ruth Faye Ingram Byram.

Mike was previously employed as a heavy equipment operator.

He loved baseball and riding the road looking for deer.

Mike is survived by his father, Richard; brother; Jeffrey Franklin Byram of Craigsville; sister; Kathy Michelle Byram of Craigsville; 3 nieces and 1 nephew.

He was preceded in death by his mother and grandparents.

A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 5, 2017 at Craigsville Funeral Home with Pastor Claude Williams officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour before the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN  38015, or the Hospice of the Piedmont, 675 Peter Jefferson Pkwy, Charlottesville, VA 22911.

    Mike i have known you my whole life. You were always a huge part of my life. You will never be forgotten. You shall stay always in my heart!!! You will be sorely missed. I know you are in a much better place and much happier. If i know you, you are walking the mountains taking in the beauty and looking for deer!!! RIP my dear friend!!!
