William “Bill” Michael Fridley

William “Bill” Michael Fridley, 59, of Craigsville, Virginia died Saturday, May 30, 2015 at his home.

He was born April 13, 1956 in Staunton, the son of the late Marshall Earl Fridley and Bessie Campbell Fridley.

Bill was employed as an Area Coordinator for Willbros T&D Services.

He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, who enjoyed hunting coons & bears, and fishing.  The boys at work always called him “Pappy”.

He is survived by his wife, Wilma Jean Lawhorn Fridley of Craigsville; 2 children: Jenny Johnson and husband David of Staunton, William “BJ” Fridley Jr. and wife Christina of Raphine; 5 grandchildren: Derek Johnson, London Johnson, Alicia Johnson, Tia Fridley, Brenan Cole Fridley; a special mother-in-law: Ann Smiley; a special uncle: Ed Campbell and wife Cherie; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A memorial service will be conducted at a later time decided by the family.

Memorial contributions may be made to Craigsville Funeral Home.
