Larry Richard Jackson, 67, of Craigsville, Virginia died Friday, March 05, 2015 at Augusta Health in Fishersville, Virginia.

He was born November 20, 1947 in Staunton, Virginia, the son of the late Lloyd Richard Jackson and Bertie Mae Carroll Jackson.

Mr. Jackson previously worked at the saw mill. He enjoyed working on cars and was a leather crafter. He loved to hunt and fish. He was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather.

He is survived by 3 children, Richard Jackson & wife Mary of Lexington, Virginia, Ronnie Jackson of Tennessee, Marvin Jackson & wife Angel of Craigsville, Virginia; 12 grandchildren, Richard Jr., Christopher, Brian, Logan, Matthew, Patrick, Steven, Ronnie, Harley, Rebecca, Hunter, Marvin, Heather and Jessica Jackson; and 2 great grandchildren; 5 sisters; Daisy Montgomery & husband Charles of Craigsville, Wanda Bazzrea & husband Rudy of Craigsville, Muriel Love & husband Chuck of Greenville, Virginia, Deltha Jackson of Staunton, Virginia and Druscilla “Stella” Kreidel and husband Donald of North Carolina; and a nephew and close friend, Larry Knight of Craigsville.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Lonnie Jackson; and sisters, Tisha Fridley, Doris Winiger, Bessie Knight and Antha Bell Jackson.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Craigsville Funeral Home with Pastor Mary Pysell officiating.

The family will receive friends Monday evening, from 6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m., at Craigsville Funeral Home.
