Forrest Wayland Campbell

Forrest Wayland Campbell, 53, of Abingdon, Virginia died Tuesday, February 25, 2015 in Abingdon.

He was born December 5, 1961 in Staunton, the son of the late Earnest Campbell and Marilynn Oscar Campbell.

Forrest was a former construction worker who built high-rise buildings in Florida.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah Alley Campbell of Tennessee; 2 children: Jennifer Smallwood & husband Drew of Columbia, SC, and Patrick Campbell of Lexington, SC; 2 grandchildren: Raegan Smallwood and Rebecca Campbell; brother; Darrell Campbell of Churchville; sister; Sharon Henderson & husband Jeff of Stuarts Draft; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday March 1, 2015 at Craigsville Funeral Home with Pastor Mary Pysell officiating. Interment will be in Miller Memorial Cemetery.
