Harold “Bazzie” Eugene Colvin

Harold “Bazzie” Eugene Colvin, 69, of Harrisonburg, Virginia died Sunday, January 11, 2015 at his residence.

He was born February 14, 1945 in Craigsville, the son of the late James Colvin and Ruby Griffen Colvin.

Bazzie was retired from George’s Food in Harrisonburg.

He was an avid Nascar fan, especially Dale Jarrett and Tony Stewart, as well as an outdoorsman.

Bazzie is survived by his companion of 21 years, Sandy Allebaugh, 4 children: June Colvin of Staunton, Carol Colvin of Staunton, Christy Dunnagan of Hot Springs, and Wayne Colvin of Ohio; 2 grandchildren; 3 brothers; Ronnie Colvin of Craigsville, Guy Colvin of Alexandria, and Roy Colvin of Titusville, Florida; and 1 sister; Bessie Colvin of Craigsville.

He is proceeded in death by one sister and six brothers.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 16, 2015 at Miller Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Terry Adkins officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to Miller Memorial Cemetery.
