Doris Knight Wininger

Doris Knight Wininger, 71, of 1104 Estaline Valley Road, Craigsville, Virginia died Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at Augusta Health in Fishersville, Virginia.
She was born May 8, 1942 in Augusta County, Virginia, the daughter of the late Lloyd Jackson and Birdie Carroll Jackson.
Mrs. Wininger was a homemaker who worked at several of the local sewing factories. She was a member of Estaline Valley Church of the Nazerene.
She is survived by 5 sons, Donald Knight & wife Jennifer of Estaline Valley, Harold Knight of Craigsville, Lloyd Knight of West Virginia, Arnold Knight of Craigsville and Jessie Knight of Craigsville; a brother, Larry Jackson of Estaline Valley; 5 sisters, Wanda Bazzrea & husband Rudy of Estaline Valley, Deltha Jackson of Staunton, Muriel Love & husband Chuck of Mint Springs, Daisy Montgomery & husband Charles of August Springs and Stella Kridell & husband Donald of North Carolina; 12 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by, a son, Douglas Knight; a brother, Lonnie Jackson; and 2 sisters, Bessie Knight and Tisha Fridley; 2 grandsons, Freddy Knight and Jessie Knight, Jr.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Estaline Valley Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Billy Curry officiating. Interment will be in Craigsville Community Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6-8:00 p.m., at Craigsville Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Estaline Valley Church of the Nazarene, 2117 Troxel Gap Road, Craigsville, Virginia 24430.
