Freddy L. Knight

Freddy L. Knight, 19, of Craigsville, Virginia passed away on Tuesday January 7, 2014 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
He was born September 5, 1994 in Staunton, Virginia, the son of Jessie L. Knight and Sharon Jackson Knight both of Craigsville.
Freddy was a 2013 graduate of Buffalo Gap High School; a gentle giant with a kind heart. He was a loving son and a great friend. He loved to play video games. He enjoyed going places and shopping with his grandmother Wininger. He always enjoyed watching TV and playing with his dogs Layla and Misty.
In addition to his parents he is survived by two grandmothers, Doris J. Wininger of Craigsville and Verna J. Jackson of Pennsylvania; a half-brother Floyd Huntley, Jr. of Churchville, Virginia; a special cousin Dreama Knight of Craigsville; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Jessie L. Knight Jr.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Craigsville Funeral Home with Pastor Billy Curry officiating. Interment will be in the Craigsville Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Craigsville Funeral Home.
