Marvin “Lefty” Kenneth Wilcher

Wilcher 001Marvin “Lefty” Kenneth Wilcher, 65, of  262 Robertson Road Apt. #33, Craigsville, Virginia, died Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at Envoy Nursing Home in  Staunton, Virginia.
He was born October 8, 1948 in Staunton, Virginia, the son of William H. Wilcher and Juanita Welcher of Craigsville.

Mr. Wilcher enjoyed hunting, fishing and anything to do with the outdoors.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, William Lee Wilcher & wife Claudette of Craigsville, a sister Della Mae Bazzrea & husband Lewis of Augusta Springs, Virginia; numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Carl E. Wilcher.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 21, 2013 at the Craigsville Pentecostal Church with Pastor Brother Gary Wilson officiating. Interment will be in Craigsville Community Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Carl White, J.T. Via, Matthew Wilcher, Steven Bazzrea, Larry Wilcher and Gary Wilcher.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, November 20th at Craigsville Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Craigsville Pentecostal Church.

The family of Marvin Wilcher would like to thank Envoy Nursing Home; you were so nice to Marvin and his family.
