Mildred Merline King, 82, of 246 Hunter Crossing Road, Goshen, Virginia, passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at Augusta Health in Fishersville, Virginia.
She was born December 15, 1930 in Goshen, Virginia, the daughter of the late Chester A. and Ruby Mawyer Hostetter. She was married to the late Arnold James King, Sr. who preceded her in death in 2002.
Mrs. King was retired from the Stillwater Worster Mills all 3 locations. She was a loving mother who enjoyed crocheting & sewing. She loved the outdoors, flowers and her humming birds.
She is survived by a son, Arnold King, Jr. & wife Elizabeth of Goshen, Virginia.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, David W. King; and an infant sister.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 21, 2013 at the Thornrose Cemetery in Staunton, Virginia with Pastor Terry Adkins. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Craigsville Funeral Home.
